Cuba - Western Cuba by Bike (8 days)
A gentle cycling trip exploring Cuba's rural western province. The perfect introduction to our range of cycling trips, this week-long tour is ideal for those seeking a relaxed exploration of a tropical paradise. The route follows quiet country roads through some of Cuba's less well-known regions.
Our trip takes us west out of the bustling and vibrant capital Havana, towards Las Terrazas Biosphere Reserve in Pinar del Rio province, known as the 'garden state' of Cuba. Colonial villages, coffee plantations and farmland are our backdrop as we cycle along peaceful backroads into the stunning Vinales Valley, until we reach the coast and the fantastic sandy beaches that Cuba is famous for.
Our journey culminates with a speedboat trip to Cayo Levisa, a small island off the north coast. Here we have the opportunity to try some kayaking (optional) or just relax on the beach and soak up the wonderful views.
